Jason joined the ministry team in September 2019. He was born and raised on the prairies of Saskatchewan and left Canada to further his studies in Manchester in 1993. In Manchester he met and married Viviane in 1997 and together they have three children, Naomi, Sonya and Jeremy. They are foster carers.
Jason has served three Congregational Churches before coming to Highbury. He has a passion for preaching and a love of people combined with an insatiable thirst for learning and teaching. His passion is to grow with Highbury Church in following Jesus. Music and running are favourite pastimes.
Mary has been a member of Highbury for over 30 years, serving as a youth leader/youth ministry coordinator, deacon and musician over that period. Currently the church secretary, she can often be found in the church office, organising everyone (whether they like it or not!). Any queries – just send them my way. Mary’s main ‘escape’ is working in her garden and frequenting the local library.
Adrian joined Highbury on moving to Cheltenham in 1998 and has played an active part in church life since then including 2 terms on the diaconate. He is an optometrist by day and amateur musician and keen cricket fan in his spare time. You will usually find him in the music corner on a Sunday morning and behind the scenes looking after the church finances.
