Highbury Church is marking the Tyndale 500 by studying the Bible. Tyndale translated the Bible into English from Greek and was killed for his work The Bible Course is produced by the Bible Society and has 8 sessions with Andrew Ollerton. We are going to run the course in groups with the hope that as many people as possible will join in and get a bird’s eye view of the Bible. If you are interested, please contact the Church Office, for the attention of the minister.

There is an introductory video about the course, if you wish to view you will need to scroll down to the bottom of the Bible Society Web Page and click on Watch Now. To Open Web Page please Click Here

Quarterly Charity – Sue Ryder
‘Because no one should face death alone’ is the tagline for the Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice. Sue Ryder provides residential and at home end-of-life care, support for those who are grieving and also advocates for those who are grieving or dying.
All their work has very little government funding and relies heavily on donations to enable it to care for as many patients as possible.
Many of us have experience of their excellent care for family or friends, and Highbury members and friends have worked, counselled or volunteered there. This makes Sue Ryder a charity close to our hearts.
